This is the basic story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears but the little bear is in a wheelchair and is off doing PT when she comes. Very cute for younger children. Also there is a book I got from Shriners, and I believe that the SBAA offers it also, Another Way to Go, about a little boy who has SB and caths. We also have a book called Some Kids Use Wheelchairs and a book called Some Kids Wear Leg Braces. Hope this helps! I am sure I can dig out the books if you want the authors names.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6497608915237244910.post-39225305188375874922010-01-19T13:29:24.538-08:002010-01-19T13:29:24.538-08:00Right under my nose is a wonderful book that I was...Right under my nose is a wonderful book that I was given at the hospital. It is specifically about a little boy who has Spina Bifida. I read it yesterday actually for the first time and just cried; because of how great they put the aspects of surgery, wheelchairs, braces, even catheters and diapers. It also has activity pages, and a parent's guide on how to talk with your child.Scasmflopshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16274593818526515761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6497608915237244910.post-67479913231450952882009-12-20T20:39:52.430-08:002009-12-20T20:39:52.430-08:00Little Bill features a friend who is in a wheelcha...Little Bill features a friend who is in a wheelchair on some episodes. Here are a few books I found: Zonder Kids: Jake's New Friend; In Jesse's Shoes by Beverley Lewis (for teaching others kids how to accept special needs kids); Happy Day Books, Level 3:God made our BodiesLacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04965367252869994316noreply@blogger.com
